Guideway
The guideway is the track for every moving axis of the machine tool and is a core performance component. It determines the upper limit of the cutting force and the upper limit of the table load capacity of the CNC machine tool.
The guideway includes the rail and the slider; the rail restricts the moving direction, and the slider affects the axis moving speed and the load capacity of the table. We provide two currently mainstream guideways: one is the linear guide, and the other is the box way. According to different machining requirements, different guideways are configured on the machine to obtain performance with different characteristics. Consult us to obtain more professional knowledge.
The types of guideways we provide

linear guides
The slider of the linear guide has a large number of rollers inside, featuring low friction and fast speed during movement; due to its fast responsiveness, it is very suitable for high-speed machining.

Box ways
The slider and rail of the box way are rigidly connected, and the cross section looks just like a square block; it has a large contact area and stronger rigidity, capable of having a higher load capacity, making it suitable for heavy cutting.
FAQ of Guideway
Pursue part machining efficiency with linear guides, pursue mold machining quality with box ways.
There are no other options; currently, the mainstream ballscrew and guideways are precisely these two types.
Molds use xx-12, parts use xx-16.
